Mountain West and BCS Stats reach two-year agreement for the MWC Basketball Tournament

GLENEAGLE, COLO. --

BCS Stats Systems and the Mountain West Conference have reached an agreement to make BCS Stats the official provider of statistical consulting and stat monitor services for the Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournaments in Las Vegas, company president Nate Policar announced today.

“I’m very pleased to announce that we are partnering with the Mountain West Conference. They have quietly become a national power conference in basketball and I’m confident we can help elevate their media relations efforts to the next level,” Policar said. “With potentially four or five selections to the NCAA tournament field up for grabs, many interested eyes will be turned to Las Vegas next month.”

The 2010 MWC Tournament, which runs from March 9 to March 14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, will include 16 games during the week, both mens and womens basketball, featuring the nine member institutions of the conference. Highlighting the field are nationally Top Ten ranked University of New Mexico and BYU, as well as UNLV and San Diego State. BCS Stats’ agreement will also include providing services at the 2011 MWC Tournament, also scheduled for Las Vegas.
